The West London Legal Centre is proud to announce that it has opened a new branch in the centre of Southall. Himalaya Palace is a landmark building which been evolving for many years. Built in 1912 it was given its exterior in 1929 and was a cinema and market before it began screening Bollywood films in 2001. The Himalaya Palace is a landmark building in Southall and there was a risk of it becoming dilapidated and in disrepair if it remained unused for much longer. Bobby Madan who is the Director of West London Legal Centre commented on this fantastic news as the Legal Centre was on the verge of closure at the end of August. He stated 'I am proud that after two and a half years without any Public funding we have managed to keep this Legal Centre open and find a Landmark building such as the Himalaya Palace to run our Centre. We welcome back all our previous clients and also the new clientele in the busy Southall High street. We will remain open until December and will assess the progress at this stage. We hope the Centre will expand into the largest in all of the London Borough of Ealing, this is our goal.'
