We meet clients everyday who are finding that they have experienced problems with a solicitor they instructed. We find that in the Asian community there has been a trend for many individuals to go to a high street legal practice in our local areas where the client is outright defrauded out of literally thousands of pounds for work which is not required on their case. Due to the client's vulnerability and lack of understanding of the law they are informed they have a case when they do not have prospects of success.

Many of these solicitors do not find it necessary to analyse the merits of one's case but are keen on obtaining a quick legal fee for five minutes advice and this can spell disaster later on for the client who is bombarded with high legal fees and costs from his opponents. This is where our service can do the following and perhaps help you obtain a refund for your fees.

1. We can make an Internal complaint for you to the solicitor on your behalf informing them of their negligence whether it was late submission of an application, Failure to inform, or professional negligence. Our fee is £200

2. Once we await the final response from the complaint we can then forward this to the Legal services Ombudsman where we charge a total of £300 for the whole procedure. This includes initiating the relevant forms to the ombudsman and providing a breakdown of the story.

3. We will then liaise with the ombudsman on the phone for you and we usually charge £10 per call thereafter.


This process is the most formal way of processing a complaint against a solicitor. Furthermore if they egare a regulated solicitor we can also inform the following bodies;

1. The SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) who can investigate further the complaints made against a solicitors bad practice. We charge £50 for complaints to the SRA. The SRA has the power to strike off a solicitor, put sanctions on a solicitors practicing certificate and also to award compensation to the client.

2. The Law society is another body which takes into account the ethics of a solicitor. They also have power to make orders and give you a break down of the legal costs of your case if your solicitor refuses to provide you with this. The Law society renumeration certificate can be applied for. We charge £80.
